Whitney Holmes is an Associate Professor at Baylor Law School where she teaches Poverty Law & Policy, Commercial Real Estate Transactions, Consumer Protection Law, and Nonprofit Organizations.
Prior to joining the Baylor faculty, Whitney practiced commercial real estate law, and in that role, she drafted agreements, negotiated transactions and counseled clients in the full spectrum of commercial real estate matters.
Whitney received a B.A. in History from Columbia University and her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. After law school, Whitney clerked for the Honorable Nelva Gonzales Ramos of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Whitney loves teaching, dogs, coffee, and spending time with her family, and she is excited to support the DRC in the important work that the organization does for the people of McLennan County.
